Lord Sutch and Heavy Friends

This is a cover version of a track from the Screaming Lord Sutch album “…and Heavy Friends” which is famous because of the involvement of Jimmy Page, John Bonham, Jeff Beck, Ritchie Blackmore and other 1970s rock gods!!! To be honest it’s not that good an album but it does have it’s moments including the track “London” on which the NoMen based this recording. Lord Sutch sings about the joys of swinging London in the sixties… the NoMen sing about a stinking council estate in Kilmarnock where at least one of the NoMen was brought up or has lived at one time in their life!
